National Comprehensive Management Project for Acidified Cultivated Land (Qianmu Core Demonstration Zone in Shenming Village, Shibi Town, Pucheng County)
Pucheng County is located at the northernmost end of Fujian Province, at the junction of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, and is known as the "Northern Gateway" of Fujian. The total area of the county is 5.0745 million mu, including 554,700 mu of cultivated land. As one of the first 20 national key counties for acidified cultivated land management, it successfully completed the management of 80,027 mu of acidified cultivated land from 2023 to 2024, carried out 18 field experiments, and established 10 demonstration plots. The average soil pH value in the project area increased by 0.33 units, and the organic matter content, cultivated land quality grade and grain production capacity were all improved.
