2024 Project of Key County for Acidified Cultivated Land Management in Jinchengjiang District, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
Jinchengjiang District is located in the northwest of Guangxi and is the only municipal district of Hechi City. There are 135,900 mu of strongly acidic cultivated land in the district, accounting for about half of the total cultivated land area in the district. As the only key county for acidified cultivated land management in Guangxi, the first phase of over 85,000 mu of cultivated land was included in the management scope. After nearly two years of management, the average soil pH value in the acidified cultivated land management project area has increased by 0.31 units, the soil texture has been improved, and the average yield of rice per mu has increased by about 40 kilograms.
