Mata Showcases Leadership in Turning Marine Waste into Sustainable Agricultural Solutions at Ninghua Demonstration Base
Ninghua, Fujian – On November 18, the Ninghua County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau organized a field observation event at the Large-Scale Demonstration Base for Acidic Soil Improvement and Carbon Sequestration in Hucun Town. The event highlighted Mata Companys pivotal role in developing sustainable agricultural solutions through marine waste recycling.

Matas Technology Unlocks Soil Improvement
PotentialThe demonstration base represents a collaborative effort between Mata, the Ninghua Agriculture Bureau, and the Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Central to this initiative is Matas proprietary "Tebeigai" soil conditioner, applied at 150 kg per mu to remediate soil acidity, enhance microbial activity, and improve fertilizer efficiency. Matas solution enables a sustainable cycle of soil improvement, yield increase, food security, and carbon sequestration, with ongoing monitoring conducted by research partners to validate soil indicators and crop performance.

Verified Field Results Demonstrate Matas Impact
Demonstration fields planted with local Helong tribute rice "Yuzhenxiang" showed visibly improved growth. Data presented by research partners confirmed that plots treated with Matas conditioner achieved over 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, a 6.87% yield increase per mu, and an additional 120 RMB in income for farmers per mu – delivering both environmental and economic benefits.

Mata Pioneers Cross-Regional Ecological Integration
The project exemplifies Matas innovative approach to repurposing marine waste from Fujians aquaculture industry into valuable soil amendments for acidic mountainous farmland. This "from ocean to mountain" model effectively bridges coastal and terrestrial ecosystems while addressing soil health and sustainability challenges. Mata continues to collaborate with partners to refine carbon accounting methodologies and advance carbon trading initiatives based on the projects outcomes.
